Metal Stamping
Metal Stamping and Its Impact on Modern Manufacturing
Metal Stamping
Allied Tools provides quality, sheet metal stamping, also known as metal pressing. Our top-of-the-line machinery holds a tolerance of +-0.005 with a sheet capacity of 80 by 160 inches table size, and includes self-designed water jets and hydraulic presses. Our in-house capabilities include the ability to create progressive dies, blanks, coining, deep draw and metal forming.
Allied Tools experienced personnel have been manufacturing products using sheet metal stamping techniques since 1941 for use in a wide variety of applications, including parts for the aviation and petro-chemical industries where parts need to conform to the highest standards and manufactured to close tolerances. Metal stamping is used where parts conforming to the same specification are required: metal stamping can be compared to a “cookie cutter” where the same process is used to produce the same shape and size product, over and over again, offering the benefits of “mass production,” reducing the cost of producing products in volume.
Metal Stamping can include a range of processes, including punching, blanking, bending, flanging, coining, and embossing and products can be produced in a single stroke operation or they may require multiple operations to produce the final product. Allied Tools has the equipment and capabilities to manufacture specialized parts and will design and develop all tooling required during the process to deliver close tolerance products to its clients and our dedication to quality is evident in everything we produce.
Industries we serve include the following:
-
Petro-chemical
-
